NBA Week 2 Power Rankings


Time for the first power rankings of the NBA season. Going top 5 with summaries.

#1: New York Knicks (4-0).. As the only remaining undefeated team, it makes sense to have the Knicks at #1. With only four games played, the Knicks have played fewer games than any other team, but they have still scored 17 more points than they have allowed this season. The next best +/- is Memphis at +9. The Knicks have scored more per game than any team other than Dallas, and have surprisingly been stingy on defense, allowing the fewest points per game. Leading the way for the Knicks is, of course, Carmelo Anthony. Anthony is averaging 27 points per game, and he’s actually playing defense this season- he already has 3 steals and 5 blocks on the year.
